The partnership of 3:16 Tours and Faith Journeys
When we started out on this faith journey of our own, our thoughts immediately turned to John 3:16 - a verse we hold dear to our hearts…
As one of the most widely quoted verses from the Bible, it summarizes the cornerstone Christian belief that God sacrificed his only son for the salvation of mankind…it was our firmly rooted belief in this which drove our decision to take 3:16 Tours as our name.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16
Jesus gave His life for us, so that we shall have eternal life in heaven… and on the path to eternity we have the opportunity to experience many different lives through the joys of travel, fellowship and connection. We believe that each time we tread a new road that we add to our own rich tapestry as well as adding to the lives of those that we encounter.
One such fortuitous encounter was with the Faith Journeys team in the USA: a group of exceptional individuals we were privileged to meet through our parent company Tour Time. The similarities of our mission to lead world class pilgrimage tours, led to the merging of our family-owned brands to create Faith Journeys / 3:16 Tours NZ and Australia. We are privileged to now operate in partnership with the Faith Journeys brand and to have been brought into the family of one the most trusted names in faith-based touring who have over 100 years’ combined experience in worldwide faith based programmes. We are now part of a team with affiliates/partners based in United Kingdom, Europe and The Holy Land.
Why do we do this?
Ron and Beryl, the founders of our company, and their staff are passionate about helping others as we believe getting to know God is the purpose for which we were made. God has given us the extraordinary privilege of knowing Him, through His Word, the Bible. We love sharing this and know that every Faith Journeys’ tour will encourage people to gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the Bible and your heritage.

The Bible…

It is a collection of sixty-six books written in three languages and covering more than one thousand years.
Although it was written by human beings over many years, God inspired it and speaks through it today.
We believe that God is in the details of every Faith Journeys’ itinerary. We attend to every detail so that growing in your faith, can be the focus of your journey. Fun and friendship are free!
Our recent very successful “In the Footsteps of the Reformers” tour was ably led by Dr Rev Michael Jensen of Sydney, Australia, a well renowned Anglican Minister, preacher, educator and author.
