Catholic Pilgrimages to The Holy Land
Experience The Holy Land with a Believer, not just a Guide
Our Catholic pilgrimages to the Holy Land are bespoke for your congregation. There is no “one-size-fits-all” in faith; each journey takes you on the path that best fits your group and your spiritual outcome. Talk to us about what is meaningful to you and your group. We can build a Faith Journey that meets all your needs.
Jesus’ Birthplace – Bethlehem
The Church of Nativity
The actual location where Jesus was said to have been born. Once you climb down the steps, there are two things to see – a 14 point star, marking the exact site where Mary gave birth, and the manger where Baby Jesus was placed, hidden behind an iron grate which makes it barely visible. .
Spiritual
seclusion
If you are looking for a peaceful secluded space, the Chapel of the Milk Grotto under St. Catharine’s Church, the adjoining Catholic place of worship for several centuries, is your place. It is situated in the place where the Holy Family sought shelter with Baby Jesus during Herod’s massacre of the innocents. Many people are seen praying here and it is often used as a spiritual haven.
Follow in the steps of Jesus Christ
It was by the Sea of Galilee that Jesus told Peter and Andrew, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Cleansing Waters of the Jordan
We’ll follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ as we pilgrimage through the Holy Land, the Land of the Bible, from Bethlehem where He was born, to Nazareth, His boyhood home; from Jerusalem, where, as a twelve-year old, He was already “about [His] Father’s business,” to the lands of Galilee where He was baptized in the River Jordan and where He taught, preached and healed the people.
Spiritual Moments
What thrilling, once-in-a-lifetime experiences await us as we behold these and other sacred places where Jesus walked - the Mount of Olives, the Sea of Galilee, the Temple Mount, the Wailing Wall, Gethsemane and the Holy Sepulchre - all will take on new depths of religious and personal meaning.
Inspirational Masses in Ancient Christian Churches
Home of Spirituality
We also celebrate life-changing masses along the way as we visit ancient Christian churches, temples, convents, and cathedrals. We see with new eyes holy shrines and renowned works of art depicting scenes from the Bible, the Trinity, the Virgin Mary and the early Saints who played important roles in the history of Christianity.
Follow His footsteps
As we walk where Jesus walked, we can’t help but think of His wondrous stories, like the parable of the Good Samaritan, where one man showed great compassion to another. Jesus told this story in answer to the question, “Who is my neighbour?” and concluded with words for our troubled world: “Go and do likewise.”
